Sickle Cell Foundation is always working to increase awareness about (SCD) Sickle Cell Disease, but this month we are really going the extra mile. Why? This is Sickle Cell Awareness month, the month where members of the Sickle Cell Community make a united push to make America and the world aware.
Many have joined in this awareness effort by hosting different projects in their communities. We are really working hard to raise the level of awareness in Leon County and the surounding area. This saturday we are hosting our 5K Run/Walk at Jake Gaither Community Center. See our list of events, then make plans to attend and next do the most important thing SHOW UP.
