The Tim Simpkins 1 Mile and the 42nd annual 5k for Sickle Cell Anemia.

Participants have an excellent opportunity to run personal bests on the quick course through Jake Gaither Neighborhood. This race has a large and enthusiastic volunteer base.

To assist families affected by sickle cell disease, the race’s proceeds are donated to the Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc.
